I am excited to share with you a card I made using the fantastic new Cookie-Cutter Halloween stamp set, Halloween Scenes Edgelits and the Cookie Cutter punch. I had never made a double z-fold card before but they looked so wonderful I had to try it out. It really isn’t all that difficult once you know where to score the bits and pieces.
and here it is folded out.
I used the new Pumpkin Pie Glitter paper for the pumpkins and paper from the Foxy Suite DSP paper pad.
I learned how to create these cards using this video: https://youtu.be/i1e2unQmU2o
It’s pajama day, a day off, a day to get crafting and sewing done! We are in a local production and I am helping with some of the bits and pieces. I have the time during the day and I volunteered so why not! It’s going to be gorgeous!
In the mean time, I wanted to share some cute thank you cards I made for some of my customers. I used the Playful Palette DSP pack, my bow builder punch, Layering Circles thinlets and Sweet Sugarplum ink. I really love the new in colors!
I really like how they turned out. I used the new banner dies as well. I forgot to take photos of the matching envelopes. These were so much fun!
I am excited to announce that I will be part of an international blog hop in September! Keep an eye out for that post and go look at all the fantastic creations that will be posted!
Take time to create this weekend!
I had a plain kraft mini album, about 3.5 x 3.5 that has been waiting to have something more done to it. A friend of ours loves dogs and so I thought this would be perfect. Using the Raining Cats and Dogs paper by Graphic 45 This is what I have so far:
The inside has plastic pages and I did add paper there as well. I think this is going to be a nice way to carry photos around!
I was really excited when I saw the new catalog. I know it doesn’t go live till September 1st, but being a demonstrator I was able to purchase a few items ahead of time. I saw the Halloween stamp set and punch and couldn’t wait to play!
This morning I was trying to think of other things I could do with the punch. What if I only had the punch. Well I saw my SU chalk marker and it hit me!
I present the simpliest Halloween man, Mr. Voodoo!
I cut it from Basic Black card stock, cut the heart from red patterned paper and drew on the stitches. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. I did have to redraw the lines a couple times with the marker to get them to stand out more, but all in all a great addition to the cute Halloween stamp set containing a vampire, a skeleton, a scarecrow and a mummy. You are going to love this Holiday Catalog!
Thanks for visiting!
We had seven people at the open house this weekend and it was so much fun! We created stickers as a warm up, tags with embossing (lots of oooos and ahhhhs for the magic of embossing powder!) as well as the fun card I posted last time. Here are a few photos of the event and projects.
Thanks to all who came! I am excited for our class on October 1st!
I have my very first Stampin’ Up Open House tomorrow and am really excited to show off product, have fun showing friends how to emboss and stamp as well as teaching them to create a card.
Here is one of the projects that will be featured:
I just love that llama! I love the bright cheerful colors as well. I will be posting photos from tomorrow’s open house so stay tuned!
Day one is live and ready to watch!
